They should be. Can't see any reason why not tbh (edit maybe they are). It's not a bank or public holiday. That said I get the day off, whoop! Don't work in a bank though. Here's a craaaaaaaaaaaaazy idea, call your bank and ask.

banks direct all calls to their call centre. now I don't really wanna go pressin buttons to choose from whether I want a mortgage, car loan, credit card, listen to hear how much money I don't have, top up my phone, make a payment, transfer money, pay a bill, or even wait for the next available operator. that would take waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long

Why the **** would they close? Lazy bastards giving themselves days off for no good reason. Surely they should be working to get themselves out of their current predicament (unless opening four days a week is a cost saving measure.)

Jaysus, I'd prefer to whinge about management giving them an extra day off than them forcing people to use one of their allocated holiday days on Good Friday.

A lot of people have good friday off including myself, why should the normal joe soap bank employees be getting abuse for having a day off no more than anyone else.
