Im looking to get a new gun something different to look at rather that m4-a1s and m16s on the field so i found this, KWA KM4 SR10.This is a review of the gun
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bxMHRZASXfo

Really like this gun but i havent heard many people talk about KWA here in ireland so im wondering is it a good purchase or what?
ive read many reviews of KWA guns including the SR-10 in the US and they say there the best performers out of the box and require little to no upgrading to get a really good, reliable gun.

I guess is what im trying to say is
    Are KWA any good?
And where do i get one as there is no sole retailer of KWA in ireland that i know of.

    Thanks for reading!
    Gary

KWA's gas guns and aegs are very different.

Thier gas guns are awesome. Reliable, tough, well made, essentially full metal copies of the KSC japanese models.

THE KSC Aegs.... well, are pretty average. They say 'lipo ready' but its somewhat mythical as the components are no better than most. They use slightly thicker gauge wire than the clones, but no thicker than CA 16gauge.

Performance wise, the rate of fire isnt spectacular, and the barrel is stock TM size, (notremotelytight bore)

You could do far better for your money really. But it depends what you want out of the m4/m16... Asthetics, Internals, etc.

im looking for a unique m4/m16 that needs maybe a tightbore and a new hop up rubber and no more done to it for performance and reliability. external quality all i want is the dust cover to pop down when i pull the charging handle, after that its all a bonus
was looking at the VFC sr-16 but they cost a bomb.
theres also the asia sr-16 but then id need to pump money into the internals afterwards

ive had 4 or 5 kwa's and im never had any problems except for the first batch (who didnt have problems with them) i have one of the newest batch that have all reinforced gearboxes and i have to say its a great performer and very solidi

if i had to pick one thing i didnt like,it would be the 2 piece hop up unit,no irish retailers stock them, they have to be ordered from ehobby

    i highly recommend kwa :)

My main rifle has always been my KWA M4. I recently went back to the stock barrel from a twist barrel while I was waiting to buy a new tightbore and the performance was still very impressive. Now with madbull hop up and tightbore it is fantastic.
    Totally recommend them.

I have a KWA M4 Defender and have to sat its my best gun even better than my G&G F2000, GR 15,Scar, Sig 551, Sig 556. Rate of fire is out of this world as is the range and has never let me down. Whoever said their AEG's were average is living in cloud cookoo land
