Looking for a 2nd hand carbon frame road bike.

Around €700, could go a bit higher for right bike.

Shimano 105 and upwards. Medium frame, around 53-54cm.

    Cheers mccutchie.

Thanks Jag Con, that would be ideal, but i'm 5ft 8 and that frame would be too big. I might check out halfords tomorrow to see have they one i can try, but alas i'd say we're out of luck which is a pity.

    How about a Focus Cayo?

52CM so may be a little small I'm 5'6'' and saddle is set low above cross tube, might suit.

Super Freak, bike looks great, but just my luck its too small. Bike gets great reviews also. Pity as it would be ideal.

I'm considering selling my Paganini Carbon road bike to upgrade to a Cervelo. Here's the spec:

Frame and Fork: 54cm Carbon 12K Weave.
    Headset: BBB
    Seatpost: BBB Aluminium
    Shifters: Ultegra 6600
    Brakes: Ultegra 6600
    Pedals: Look Keo Carbon
    Front Derailleur: Ultegra 6600
    Rear Derailleur: Ultegra 6700
    Crankset: Ultegra 6600
    BB: Ultegra
    Handlebar: 420mm BBB Aluminium
    Stem: 120mm BBB
Saddle: Selle Italia C2/Fizik Pave Saddle
Cassette: Shimano Ultegra CS-6700 Cassette 10-Speed Sprocket Ratio: 11-25 (less than 1000km - bought 2 months ago)
Chain: SRAM PC 1091R Hollow Pin Chain 10-speed
    Wheels: A-Class ALX280 Clinchers
Tires: Panaracer Extreme Evo 3 700x23c (0km, i.e. unused so far)
Bottle Cages: Specialized Zee Cage Bottle Cage 2010 x2
Colors: Black with Some Red Decals
Other accessories include saddle bag, look keo cleats, Cervelo short sleeve jersey and bib shorts 2010 (M), lights (red or white).

I bought the bike in Humphries in Finglas in August 2009. I've trained on it since then and it has seen about 4000km. It climbs and descends pretty well in my humble opinion. It's pretty smooth also on rough sections. I've maintained the bike by washing it regularly with proper degreaser - warm water and soap - warm water - keeping it well lubed etc and kept it in excellent condition indoors. The rear wheel has had all it's spokes replaced recently. You're welcome to inspect it anytime.

    Asking price is €1250.

This pic was taken atop Kippure last summer.

    Cheers,

    Phil.

Hi Phil, nice bike. Have you some more recent pics ? What model is it and are you flexible on the price, a bit too high for me. Cheers.

It's no particular model. It's just got Paganini decals. It's not THE most famous brand name as such but I find it a good carbon bike for starting off on. I can post up more pictures tomorrow or Monday. Racing in Drogheda tomorrow so probably Monday as want to give it a clean afterwards.

Not too flexible re price as I'll just hold onto it if I don't get the right offer. Just saw your post and said I'd throw it out there. Have been considering selling frame, forks, handlebars and seatpost and putting existing groupset/pedals on new frame.
