guitarist, galway wishes to start up cover/whatever band

Hi, I am a guitarist In Galway city, 23yrs, looking to form a band to play covers in pubs, clubs/whatever. I am up for playing anything minus content containing excessive cheese levels. I intend to put a group together to gig, earn cash, write some tunes, and mainly have some fun. covers are the main priority here but i'm not afraid of playing originals and writing stuff, eventually playing all original sets.

I am up for playing any style and open to most bands. ( within reason )
personally I'm from a metal/hard rock/prog background but I like to mix it up. I have a small amount of live experience, but its been a while. I play in more of a lead style myself, but that doesnt mean I'm a Polyrhythmic muso even though I love the technical stuff.

I work Weekends, but at the moment and foreseeable future, i'll be free most weekdays, so building a routine shouldn't be a problem.

I'm looking for any musicians wishing to play rock orientated stuff from 60's classic stuff to death metal. Its all good. im also into the idea of expanding on covers, and not necessarily always doing true covers, sometimes putting a spin on them...(if it sounds good that is!) so anyways, mainly drummer/bass/vox/keys/spoons....usual stuff. preferably people around the same age 19-29, but it doesn't really matter. anyone interested, drop me a line, reply yadda yadda yadda if not, good luck.
