Anyone know a good place to get a set of wheels for a golf gti? Been having trouble with pothole damage on the 18" alloys and it was suggested to me to invest in some 17" or even 16" wheels for everyday driving as the roads in my area are cat.

What era Golf? Old ones are 5x100 and new ones 5x112 PCD (hole spacing). Either way you dont need "GTI" wheels, VW and if 5x112 both VW and Audi wheels are very popular and basically available everywhere.

Thanks guys. I'd forgotten about this for a while because I had decided to get a new Skoda but it turns out the dealer was pulling the old "bait and switch" on me. I tried East Coast Alloys. Nobody answered the phone and I'm still waiting on a reply from the online query. There was nothing on Donedeal when I posted the OP but I'll have a look. It's a 05 Golf Gti.

you are not allowed to advertise on boards. People link ads from time to time but not their own repeatedly.

Try it again and you will get a ban.

I admit my first post was incorrect because i did advertise the items directly on the post and I then corrected it by advertising them on adverts.ie

But my second post I wasn't advertising I was complying by linking to a brand new set of wheels with tyres I have advertised on adverts.ie

My third post was because I thought that obiviously there was an error in judgement by someone who deleted my post.

I have read the rules and can't find where it says you can't link to your own adverts only other peoples.

So can someone else to link to my wheels ?

Any nice boardie out there want to link to my wheels advertised on adverts.ie ?

What part do you not understand? You are not allowed to advertise on boards and asking people to post your wheels isnt on. This is not adverts. People post links for opinions or as suggestions only.

    Thread closed and ban given.
