    Hi all

I have a full leg and tight bikini or brazilian wax every 4 to 5 weeks.

I'm wondering if anyone out there has found any ways to prolong their wax as after only 2 weeks I already have regrowth.

Also, this time I am experiencing discomfort in the bikini area. The skin feels sore and is quite red. I have been exfoliating gently as always but am having the usual trapped hairs problems too.

    Anyone recommend anything? :)

I don't know about prolonging the wax, after two weeks I have regrowth too.

My skin is red after and I have little red spots but after a few hours they are gone.

I got some Aloe Vera gel from the salon I go to and a few hours after waxing I apply the gel and again the following day after the wax, I have a cool shower/bath and apply the gel to the waxed areas (underarm/leg/hollywood/eyebrow). I find it good with the redness and also for cooling the area.

This is the gel I use, I paid around €5 for the 35ml. But from now on I will buy it online.

I've never bought from BeautyExpress so don't know what they are like to buy from/deal with.

Here it is on Amazon £8.45 + shipping for the 200ml.

Thank you for the reply. Although I do get the initial redness straight after waxing, this isn't what I meant. You're talking about what I like to call the 'plucked chicken' look :D

It's two weeks since my wax and now my skin is sore and sensitive. Been using tea tree to help it but it hasn't worked so far!

    Sorry, my bad.

I've never had discomfort after two weeks though.

Has your salon changed the wax they use or anything? Do you mind me asking, what products (if any) they put on after the wax? If they put any product on you, have they changed products/brands recently?

My salon give a choice of the gel I mentioned above or an after wax lotion.

Try a bit of Sudocreme. I use that the odd time when needed and it does the trick. Also, did you have the wax done with hot wax or was it strip? If you're getting strip wax it's time to move! My skin is much less sensitive since I changed to hot wax

I'll be interested to see if anyone has tips to extend the regrowth time too. It's an expensive business!!
