doing a cinema night for first years and i need films that are rated 12 and under because none of them are fifteen and they need to be good enough to hold their attention, all suggestions welcome though i feel a comedy would be most successful

Source Code is quite a good 12 rated thriller. Not much currently in the way of comedies though.

I'd second the recommendation for Source Code. Has enough action and intelligence to hold the attention.
