never ordered from them before are they reliable ?

They used to be free for delivery. £2.98 per item now - seems very high to me. May still be some bargains in there but most of the £3 or so items were previously £5 or thereabouts, so the 2.98 charge means they're pretty much the same price now.

    Changes to Postage and Packing

Due to recent increases in Royal Mail postage charges we’ve changed our P&P structure and will be charging £1.99 per item with immediate effect.

As a result we’re reinvesting as much of this fee as possible which will be reflected in even lower prices on all our products.

yes that's sad as this was one of my main sites for buying dvd's and games

just checked and i have ordered 44 items and some missing items that were ordered before those that got knocked off so closer to 50 items without any problem

same here, well over 50 orders, just a major delay once around xmas 08 with an order for resistance 2 but others had an issue with a boxset at xmas 2009 i believe.

sorry to see they've added that for postage, unfortunately for them will cause me to check elsewhere for a better price instead of using them exclusively

From free to nearly £3 for Irish deliveries. Went to put a order of 10 Blu Rays through and the total for postage came to £29.80. I fear that it's the last time I'll be using sendit.

Terrible news about the new delivery charge. No wonder DVD's have been reduced to as low as 99c. Special editions of Independence Day and I Robot only 1.49, The Deer Hunter and Training Day also 1.99. Loads of others for that that price but obviously not a big deal considering the new charge. I hope Play.com don't follow suit. Afterall how much could the royal mail have increased the prices by? Nearly £3 seems ridiculous. This is going to damage sendit a lot.

Sendit are perfectly reliable, these were one of my main sites for bluray's and games - even bought some runners and shoes off them due to the free delivery.

Don't think I'll be using them again though.

Those blu-ray's can be bought cheaper from the hut.com.
    For EG;

Shaolin Soccer & Wolfe Creek are £4.45 with free delivery from the hut.

    From sendit.com they work out at £2.49 + £2.98 = £5.47.

Yeah, but I'm curious as to if this overseas charge will be rolled out to all of TheHut Group shortly.

They must have added another £0.99 to this for shipping here as the cost is now £2.98

It's a bit of a joke, £2.98. they're gonna have to sort it out pretty soon.

    Well hopefully they do.

Asda is still 99p per item and TheHut.com is shipping free here so avoid sendit like the plague
