fire brigade recruitment ?

    Even tho there is a recruitment freeze on the public sector does anyone know when the fire brigade will recruit especially cork city fire brigade?

    certainly not, stations all accross the country hiring. have you actually asked cork them selves?

    yeah ive emailed them about a month ago and haven't herd anything yet I would love some bit of info regarding recruitment with cork city fire brigade

    fulltime waterford city 2-3 weeks confirmed friday from h.r......eyes on paper and wcc web site people

    Are waterford recruiting from their retained crew.

    Limerick city went through the process before christmas medical, aptitude,fitness two interviews created a panel, then didnt fill the positions.

    There is still a ban on recruitment and councils are slow to commit pending the review by IMF and spending cuts

    Galway are supposed to be recruiting wholetime but only from their retained crews

    waterford city ....1 from the retained and 1 open comp, will be advertised in the next week or two...

    is there any website you can keep a eye on to see if jobs come up apart from local authority ones..

    i missed the last one in limerick by about 3days and i only saw the ennis one after a friend told me it was in the local paper.

    i seen the limerick one mentioned here but not the ennis one..

    Limerick was wholetime, Ennis was retained with different requirements regarding where you can reside

    I only explained as retained is a different animal to wholetime, but if your willing to move and reside elsewhere for a retained job fairplay and best of luck

    if ye keep an eye on the waterford city fire service facebook page, it will be posted there as soon as it is advertised..hit the like button on the page and get notified when it does happen

    Don't know if anyone is from the Mayo area here but if so Ballina, Ballinrobe and Swinford Fire Stations are recruiting retained Fire Fighters. Advertised only yesterday!
