Hi I am a Sally hansen user and it really is great. . But sometimes if it can rub off on my clothes, others, table cloths etc .. (gross i know !)

I'm going to a wedding and wearing a black and cream dress and dread thinkin of sally marks on my dress, or on white table cloth from leaning on it with arms.

So I'm looking for another instant tan that wont budge? Does bronze express come off? Loreal sublime (sp) ?

Thanks for any advice, tips etc

    F

Sublime Bronze Gel (I know there's other ones now?) isn't really an instant tan, it develops, so it doesn't rub off but I used to always use that and found it great.

Kind of by definition instant tan will rub off, it's just make up for your body really, it appears instantly because it goes on that colour, the ones that develop take time to dry and "set" for want of a better word, so it doesn't come off as easily.

Sun shimmer matt is transfer resistant.

Another option is he-shi tan it is more expensive than Sun Shimmer, but it gives a lovely golden colour. You can get it Harvey Nichols in Dundrum and I think House of Fraser.

He-Shi Instant One-Day Tan is FANTASTIC. I won a He-Shi set in a competition a while back and was a bit dubious about using it - I haven't got great luck with instant tan, and I was using the Sally Hansen too but I find it very thick and...pore-cloggy?!!:D The He-Shi is brilliant if you use a proper mitt, and it won't budge until you have a shower. You can get it online too, because I've looked it up to see where I can get more when I run out - don't want to put any unauthorized links up here but if you google "buy He-Shi online Ireland" then you should get a few places. The stuff is class :)

+ 1 for St Moriz, I've never had any tan transfers to my clothes!

I find the st moriz literally doesn't last a day on me, I have no idea why but it's gone within a day :(

Do you exfoliate before putting it on?

My sister swears by it but I've never tried it myself.

I also find the St Moritz unimpressive....it doesnt really show up on my skin and it only lasts a few hours! and yes I exfoliate always
