    Hi almanu.

If you can let me know the model, I can do some digging for you, but I suspect it's something simple.

Unfortunately I do need the model as the software changes between ranges.

Keep me posted and I'm sure we can get you sorted and not have the kids missing great games with a silly store demo.

    Many thanks

    Dave

    almanu,

I had a similar problem with a philips. the TV is possibly set to store/shop mode go into settings change it to home mode, save the settings. switch off TV to let changes take effect and then switch back on. should get rid of store banners

mods sorry if i jumped in on this, but is such an annoying problem. feel free to delete this.

    Almanu,

I think you will have to do go backwards and reset the plug and play setup feature on your TV.

as you correctly described you can get out of the store demo mode by hitting the volume button on the TV when the volume OSD (on screen display) is on screen, press & hold the Menu button on the TV for about 5 seconds - this should get you back into the initial setup menu and out of Store Demo mode.

To completely reset the Plug and play menu - press the MENU button, then press ^ to select Setup then press Enter (Twice) this should get you into the initial setup menu again..

There is a copy of the manual in case you have misplaced yours!

Give us a shout if you are still in trouble and we will see what we can do for you - and remember - whatever you do get your next TV from us :D
