I fear this is going to end up with Australia and Canada as the frequent answers just because that's what is in at the moment. But would like to know from people on here who have lived and WORKED abroad. Where was your favourite place to live?

I have my sights on three places:

    - London
    - Miami
    - Amsterdam

Buy a property from each place.

Moscow and London. I've been to Australia - no desire to go back. I would have liked to try France or Italy, but that's unlikely - great countries to visit though.

    Nice, Southern France. Simply beautiful.
Cannes up one road and Monaco up another. Both 20 minutes away by train.
As for the food? Out of this world.

    No you can't...

Even a tiny studio would be well over $1000/month.

    Portland, Oregon.
I had the opportunity to live there some years back.
If you are into the outdoors, that one of the most fantastic places to live.
Head west and you have the North West Pacific coast. Head east across the Cascades and beautiful Mount Hood and head to the Painted Hills in the desert.
North to Seattle and Vancouver. South through the red wood forests to San Fran and LA. Beautiful.

    Or New Zealand.
