Buying from Northern Ireland: Vat query

    Hi

    I am a registered Irish company. I just bought some printed brochures from Northern Ireland. I wasn't charged vat/tax though. Is this okay?

    This is correct, although you would have to include on your VAT return. For most businesses, it will result in no extra VAT payable on your return once you would be entitled to claim the VAT back on an equivalent local print supplier.
