    Hey all,

I recently borked my laptop by breaking it's screen (woops) and currently have to use it by plugging it into my TV. I'm in the process of getting myself set up with a replacement, which will be a desktop.

However, I also want to be able to use a laptop of somesort. I was initially thinking of a netbook or something similar, but maybe a fully-fledged laptop can be had for not much money?

My requirements (as they are) are as follows:
    Small laptop (13" max)
    Cheap (around €300 odd)
    Windows 7
Durable (as in able to take somewhat of a beating):pac:

It won't need to be super fast, or super amazing, or anything like that, I'm aiming on my desktop to do all of that :)

    Thanks in advance...

It is reasonably simple task to replace a laptop screen yourself.

I know this, but the laptop is old and knackered in other ways too, so it's time for an upgrade all round...

Just get a cheap netbook so. They should all come below budget. Alternatively i'd look at something with a slightly larger screen, maybe 11.6" ish, as they're easier to use.
