Hi I am hoping to go back to college in September and do an add on degree.Have diploma at the min. 68% Merit. Is there any chance with a lot of hard work that I could get a 2.2 or 2.1? What % do I need to be getting? Really appreciate any help anyone can give.

I don't quite get what you're asking. If you go into the final year of a degree surely you have the same chance as anyone else to get any grade. 2.1s are very achievable - have to get 60% or more.

In the same boat; like you I have a diploma (which in my case is equivalent to 1st Year) and I intend to return in September to begin 2nd year after a six-year absence. In the meantime I'm devoting most of my spare time to refreshing my knowledge of the subject and I'm in the middle of a four-month-long course at the moment. I think it would be too much of a challenge just to plunge into it in September after such a long absence.
