Whats the best route to take to get a PS3 repaired

    A friend of mine has a relatively new PS3 but it wont read discs. What is the best way to get it fixed. Anyone manged to do it?

    (Mine is fine thankfully, but mad to give him a pasting in Fifa 11!!)

    Define relatively new.
    Bring it back to the store.

    I wouldnt go near them unless you really need to as you could be waiting ages for a fix.

    Id try get it replaced before i would go to them.

    F1ngers, it definitely would be out of warranty. I'd imagine it is over 2 years old anyway but it is one of the newer type slimmer ones. Looking for suggestions in the Waterford direction if anyone knows
