I installed an upgrade on my iphone today and now it wants to restore!!! I didn't back up and have some really important files on my iphone that I can't afford to lose???

Right now it says "iphone in recovery mode - you must restore"

Is there anything I can do!

Tnx for ur suggestion but I couldn't find a website for that - just loads of torrents and other sites pointing me to downloads. So I gave in and reset the phone, but lost all my data/apps etc. as I hadn't backed up for a month or so. Lesson learnt re. backups :(

As it was resetting it beeped several times and I could see it had downloaded messages/calls that I had missed while it was out of action for 8hrs or so. But when the reset had completed, all that info was gone, and no records of anything incoming during those 8hrs remained.
Any ideas if I can ever get those lost messages/calls???
I'm with Three and they said they do nt have access to incoming records on my phone, so no help there.

    Thanks for reading...

The first thing the phone does during The upgrade is a backup. The last couple of upgrades I have done have ended up with the phone needing to be restored. When the Phone has been reset to factory settings. There should be an oprion to restore to a back up.
