Take the inverse cos of both sides:

    [latex] \displaystyle \cos(\theta) = -0.5194 [/latex]
    [latex] \displaystyle \cos^{-1}(\cos(\theta)) = \cos^{-1}(-0.5194) [/latex]
    [latex] \displaystyle \theta = \cos^{-1}(-0.5194) = 121.27^\circ [/latex]
