I am studying at the moment part time in the evenings and looking for work, I am wondering if I should leave that out of my cover letter? I thought it may look ok, as I am being productive but some employers might see it as a hindrance?

i would have thought it would look good.

are you working during the day? if so by studying as well at night shows you have ambition and have an interest in what you do e.g. if you study engineering at night while you work as an engineer a potential employer would see that you have a strong interest in engineering.

i would have thought if two people with the exact same qualifications and work experience were being short listed for a job. the person who is currently studying at night would be ahead.
