I have had an airbag fault for several months which shows up when I turn the car on. I now have a problem with the horn and the seatbelt. Could these be connected?

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

Why on earth would you want to connect the horn to the airbag and seatbelt? Do you really want to be pinned to your seat with a facefull of airbag exploding every time you beep the horn :D

Seriously though it's unlikely. You don't reveal much detail about the problems but I doubt there's any relationship.

The coms unit can give trouble on these....you need a diagnostic check to confirm tho.
The coms unit controls wipers..indicators..lights..and the airbag is connected tru it.

Thanks. I thought it was something to do with the coms unit. Though, I supppose the searbelt is just a coincidence. Though, that is the biggest problem at the moment as I can drive the car with the airbag fault light coming on and with no horn but I cant drive it without a seatbelt.
