Replacement Income levy Cert

    Hi,

    I finished with an employer last March & now I am trying to do my 2010 tax return.

    I have the cert from my employer for the rest of 2010 but I don't have the one from this employer. I rang them & they claim to have issued it to me so either they actually didn't or I have misplaced it.

    Are they oblidged to send me out another one or can I get one from Revenue?

    I'm not sure about obliged, but being reasonable they should, unless there was a breakdown in your relationship with them?

    Revenue should have this detail on file already anyway, as they were obliged to file details of pay and tax (including income levy) for all their employees, by 15th February.

    Thanks, it didn't finish on the best terms but I just need to get the cert. I am hoping they do the right thing & send me out another one but in case they don't, I will call revenue this morning.
