Can 40mm white PVC pipe be used under a garden?

    Or would it rot away?

Its not actually for water,or waste, its to protect a few cables in a trench in my garden.

    Thanks.:)

PVC Pipe will never wrot away. Also if you use PVC you wont have to worry about earthing the pipe where as if you use plastic coated metal wire your suppose to earth the caseing

A little tip. Drill lots of holes in the base of the pipe it lets water out that gets trapped in it and stops water from entering above. You can keep the downside of the pipe in a fixed position by cutting it at each end and fitting a cross - like a T but with 4 inlets. Then add 2 pcs of the pipe to keep it stable with the wholes down...If that makes sense....
