Would you want your dad at your stag?

My brothers stag is coming up in two weeks time and my dad is determined to come, despite me telling him of the shenanigans that will be going on. My brother feels under pressure to invite him but I think he might ruin the buzz a bit and make some people a little uncomfortable. He's not annoying or anything like it but I know I wouldn't feel fully at ease if he was my stag

The last stag my brother was at led to the stag being stripped bollock naked and hand cuffed to a lampost for a few hours, after that they came back and made him wear a gimpsuit to the club and generally acted the goat

Would you be alright with you old man witnessing all this or would you recommend he stay at home?

I wouldn't want myself at a stag, let alone my father.

When my friend was getting married last year he had an away stag and a home stag. All the lads went to Berlin for the away stag and then on the home stag his dad and future father in law came. The home stag was a lot more low key, but it was nice to have it so that the dads could be involved.

Since my dad is dead, no. He'd probably just stink the place up.

If I were a man and actually had a stag, absolutely! My dad is savage craic.

I brought mine and also my then future father-in-law .. they really let their hair down. Great way of getting the families more "comfortable" and dont regret it in the slightest

My Dad (and his brother) were at my stag. On the first night they stayed in the pub with us till about midnight and then we went to a club and they went to the hotel. Second night he stayed till after dinner and then went to bed.

But then I don't hang around with the kind of homoerotic neanderthals who strip their mates naked and leave them in public. We just had fun, y'know like drinking and laughing?

Just get him with this one, all part of the game, and then you won't have to worry about him tagging along. :)

My dad doesn't drink and I don't plan on ever getting married.

My da in his hayday was nuts generally he'd be twatted by 9 so, I'd have warm up drinks with him in the afternoon and then out propper after that:p

I'd probably have two. A smaller 'family' related one, and one with my mates.

To right I would. He'd easily outdrink any of my friends. Its funny seeing them trying to keep up with him and failing.
