    Former Manowar drummer Scott Columbus has passed away. Many people on here might take the p*ss out of Manowar but they have made some excellent music over the years and Scotts playing in the live arena was top notch. No details of what happened him only this statement from Manowars Facebook page
    With great sorrow we announce the passing of our brother Scott Columbus.

    A rare talent, equally a rare individual, a father, a friend and a brother of metal.

    All of the great moments we spent together are burnished in our hearts and memories forever.
    ...
    We know he is in a good place and at peace.

    He will never be forgotten.

    painfully young / naive / serious about music - that was me once upon a time.. so much so i couldn't even see manowar were taking the p*ss :o

    tremendous group, very witty and very talented
