Litter in the arts block

Its 5.35 pm and all around the blue chairs is an absolute disgrace! Litter on all the tables, despite the fact there are loads of well placed bins around the area!

This is the third day in a row i've seen the area in such a state. It annoys me to think that some students would so inconsiderate as to not simply clean up after themselves when they are done eating. The same thing happens in the common room, its not fair to people who want to use the area after you have used it.

C'mon how hard is it to simply throw something in the MANY bins around the place.

    Rant done

Mess in artsblock +common room makes MEH ANGRY!!!

A huge +1 from me. The way some of the places on campus are left is disgusting! People should have a bit of pride in themselves and not expect others to clean up after them.

The reading room (my second home ) is also really bad for this. Like I know it's not the worst thing, but if you have an empty bottle or whatever, put it in the bin on your way out. It's even worse than usual atm because of all the stray election material.

+1 to all of this, especially since it's physically impossible to leave the blue chairs area without passing the bins. It's not like carrying a few grams of weight an extra few metres will add any hardship to your day

The Common Room is shocking though. Was in there for the first time last week and couldn't believe the state the place was left in.

The place is to be stripped clean of candidate manifestos and flyers by Tuesday at 8am if thats any consolation:)

It's bizarre how people don't put things in the bin after themselves in the arts block. I just find it so strange.

I agree I mean it's not like the bins in the arts block are far from the blue seats.

Yeah the next person who hands me a manifesto or flyer is going on my "list"

Have to whole heartedly agree with you!! I don't understand why people can't bring their rubbish with them! If I'm anywhere that isn't near a bin, I throw it in my bag or pocket until I'm near a bin, it takes no energy at all!

Litter is the height of laziness! I hate driving anywhere and seeing mcdonalds bags and black sacks and general mess on the side of the road!! Ugh!

Rant over sorry...just completely agree with Hairspray!
