Which is the best make? The tercel is slightly cheaper I noticed. All green gas.

The Tercel is a complete TM clone and a great pistol at that, it was the first pistol I bought and I regret ever selling it, fantastic range and accuracy, great weight, build and rock solid!

Can the tercel or WE take CO2 mags? I know the KJW can.

I have not personally used the Tercel 1911, so can't comment on it.

I am a big fan of KJW though. Why? You can get replacement parts direct from manufacturer for very good prices - this means should you run into any problems it is far easier to get them sorted. That said, I've never used the KJW M1911 on Green Gas, just Co2...so it's not a fair comparison between the WE.

The WE MEU (same as M1911, just different externals) is a nice piece, albeit a gas guzzler...it looks and feels great.

Odds are, you'll end up owning all :P Airsoft has a habit of turning people into whorders

I've had all three.... I rate the tercel far higher than anything else... Its rock solid, no wobble anywhere... (The WE has a bit of slide rattle) and its a far better performer. I'd recomend that obviously... I felt the KJ didnt have quite the same feel to it in terms of construction.

The KJW CO2 1911 and the regular 1911 are different. Don't confuse getting the CO2 model with being the same as getting the regular model and buying CO2 mags for it.

The Tercel, I'd agree, is the superior option to almost all Green Gas 1911's I've seen, but the KJW CO2 1911 is a peach. Personally, I loathe 1911's. Their feel, style, aesthetics, ergonomics... everything, but that CO2 version impressed the hell out of me to the point where I was willing to forgive it's many misgivings with me just to fire it. It's more expensive than the Tercel, but if price isn't a huge factor and/or you want the winter performance factored in too, I'd recommend it.

Are you sure about that? A lot of people seem to think that it is the same

They are two versions... the Co2 VERSION, has different seals inside the gun.

Plus a significantly stronger recoil spring and different nozzle.

Yep, forgot to think of those.

I think I would get the Co2 version, but I failed to find either Co2 pistol or mag in stock. So would you recommend the tercel to someone with no GBB experience?

its as bomb proof as any gbb really. Cocky slidey puley triggery and a slingbacker you have. Every now and then a clean of the working parts and a spray of silicone oil, and its grand. One tip, grab a normal pencil, and run it along the slide runners on the pistol, till you see a coating (thin) of graphite, and it will be Silky Smooth! (Movie reference, but what?)

    You should be grand.
