Trying to get the ItV channels on Sky

    Hi Everyone,

    i recently got Sky digital HD installed and I found out that I cant find the ITV1,2,3,4 channels that I had when I was with UPC. Is there and way of adding channels to the sky box ???.

    Press the Services button, then:
    with 'Options' highlighted press 6, and with 'Add Channels highlighted
    press select and add the channels with the details below:

    Frequency: Polarity: Symbol Rate: FEC:

    ITV 1 10.758 V 22.0 5/6
    ITV 2 10.758 V 22.0 5/6
    ITV 3 10.906 V 22.0 5/6
    ITV 4 10.758 V 22.0 5/6

    Can anyone tell me if you can setup the HD skybox to record the ITV channels which are located in the other channels ?. It is doing my other halfs head in that she cant record any of those channels.

    Any advise guys ?.

    you need the freesat card from sky , it adds them to the epg along with other channels

    Cheers for the reply, what if the freesat card from Sky. Would they not have given this out with the subscription. We moved from UPC to Sky for that reason, they said that we would be able to be interactive with these channels, obviously not!!.

    If I rang those in Cork about it, would they ship one to us, also at what cost ?.

    free sat cards ain tfor sale in ireland , only uk , you should pic one up on ebay cheap enough

    Which regions are the "best" regions to get though? The Freesat from Sky trick only gives you Channel 5 with certain regions I beleive.
