If Varadkar is worried about the PPP companies pulling out just make a refundable 40million deposit by them part of the deal, they get the money back when all their works are complete on time etc. This will cover the cost of the upcoming work if they pull out.

Its far more complicated than that. MN and DU are dead as I predicted nearly 4 years ago. The will was never there at Government level.

    Counting chickens prior to hatching?

I'd rather a government be more prudent and take a second look rather than overspend on a project willy-nilly and rip off the taxpayers.

MN and DU will not happen. They have had first, second, third, fourth looks over the past 10 years.

I count chickens on the basis of their history of hatching. You just make unsubstantiated comments.
