From what i can gather they only count for the group games.

We probably we know until 2 days before the final anyway

They'll be € 5 cheaper if nothing else.

The last 2 years season ticket holders of all counties have gotten in to the league finals for no extra cost. Though this is not officially part of the deal it has happened in each of the last 2 years.

Will surely be implemented this year so considering the price of a ticket reduced from €15 to €13 euro after season tickets were sold.

League final is included in season ticket, provided your County is playing in it afaik.

Well as I said above last 2 years season ticket holders for any county could attend the league final for that code.

Edit: I got the following on April 28th Last year.

    a chara,

All GAA Hurling Season Ticket holders are invited to attend this weekend's Allianz GAA Hurling League Finals - Divisions 1 & 2 in Semple Stadium - free of charge!

Sunday 2nd May: Division 2 Final- Clare v Wexford 5pm and Division 1 Final- Cork v Galway 7pm.

Reminder to Season Ticket holders from the competing counties to go to Stile 7 in the O Coinneain Stand to gain entry. Competing county Season Ticket holders will be seated in Section 204 in the Ardan O Coinneain Stand

Season Ticket holders from all other counties should go to Stile 8 in the O Coinneain Stand and you will be allocated your seat number as you pass through the Stile - first come, first served.

Hope to see you this weekend!

    Le meas,

I've heard that this may not be the case this year.

Hopefully it will as it generates a bit more of an atmosphere at the games

You mean the GAA may milk it because the Dubs might be in the finals ;)

The only might about it is with hurling, in football there is no might about it:):D:pac:

I suspect this year in the football they might not "invite" all season ticket holders to the final. Obviously with the Dubs playing.
But remember that this is not milking the dubs. Dublin season ticket holders will still get in for free.

    Just received this:

    A chara,

Next weekend sees the completion of the Allianz Football Leagues with the finals taking place in Croke Park.

The Division 1 final between Dublin and Cork and the Division 2 final between Donegal and Laois takes place on Sunday 24th April.

As a season ticket holder the cost of the matches is covered by the original purchase of your county's season ticket.

Each season ticket holder will be emailed their season ticket early next week.

It is necessary for all season ticket holders to print of this ticket and bring it along to the match as they will need this to gain entry to the stadium.

Attendance for season ticket holders will automatically be recorded when the season ticket is printed out.

Please note all correspondences need to be emailed to seasonticket@gaa.ie

Just a slight highjacking of this thread...

Anyone know what the story is with general tickets for D1 the league final? Just looking at ticketmaster there and there are only two sections available to buy tickets from with hill 16 being walk in on the day. Surely there not sold out? Are the tickets all gone to clubs or something?

Try www.tickets.ie they have slightly better seats... Not great though... But would love to hear other suggestions as to where to get decent tickets for the finals....

Not related to the league final but....

Are there any restrictions to the Opt Out?
Yes. You must use your Opt Out in accordance with the rules set out by the GAA Ticket Office. There will be a time limit on the Opt Out, depending on the length of time between fixtures. You will only be able to complete your Opt Out via your online account. You will not be able to email or “phone in” an Opt Out.

Has anyone been able to access their online account?????

So the opt out or change of e-mail if you're away for one of the championship games is not an option  Well played Headquarters

How do you log in  can you this year or do they just activate it after the league??

I think I just emailed them last year, it only kicks in after the first round of the championship.

They're usually pretty quick to respond if you email them for getting things sorted.

As you can't opt out of any games yet the functionality is not needed at this time.

If the functionality is still not available when you have the opportunity to opt out then maybe we can begin the debate about how terrible they are but until then why bother to give out about something which is not yet possible or needed?

If you need any changes email the Ticket Office who are always very helpful and who facilitated opt outs via email last year.

I'm just asking the questions as it's my first year on the season ticket and due to a fixture date change i'll be on holiday for the first match. The old fellow wouldn't be too savvy on the old internet so just want to be sure it wont be an issue.
Also a bit concerned that i seem to be missing out on their group mailings.
I.e full credit for those not at TippVKK, season tickets and league finals.
Didn't get the tickets sent to me for match at Croker either. I'm waiting an e-mail response.

As said above, game one is included in the initial fee and can't be an opt out game, unless they make an exception for you (which if you email them they might).
