Hi guys Im looking to buy a decent road bike for doing long cycles, open to all options and budget depends on the bike for sale. However I would like to stay around €350 but this can be pushed for something special.

    I am 6ft3 / 6ft4 so am thinking minimum 60cm frame.

I posted this in a similar thread recently:

Decent amount of steerer tube available to adjust to your size, the pedals are Look Keo's but I have a set of MTB clipless pedals if that would be preferable.

The only thing that might not be on the cards is the wheelset, which I might want to keep.

I'd also be doing you a favour too as there are no spare parts available for them any more so once something goes out of true or breaks, you'd be a wheel down.
I was going to buy a set of wheels anyway for commuting on, so they wouldn't be too much of an outlay.

To update the info on the bike, the frame is 60cm (or very close to it) and aluminium. It's about 10-11 years old so is running a full duraace 7700 setup bar the bottom bracket which I replaced before christmas for a 105 due to the bearings finally giving up the ghost in the old one.

The wheels are not going to be included, the rear bearings are on their way out as of last weekend.

    In or around €350.
