    Hi,

    First post to this forum...

I don't have much experience of cameras/photography. My Dad has some photos from my brother's graduation. The problem is they all have a time/date stamp on them. Is there any way to remove the time/date stamp from the photos before I print them?

Do I need editing software? Is there any freeware ones?

    Thanks.

paint.net is one, a bit basic but you'll be able to remove date stamps, I usually enlarge pic to 500% and use the cloning tool to "paint" over the date stamp. Make sure you put your clone anchor close to the area you want to clone (but not "in" the area you want to clone). it takes a bit of practice but I really hate date stamps!
