I'm in the middle of an extension + renovation project. Doing a 900sq/ft extension plus complete gut & refurb of existing build. Construction has approx 4 weeks left before we have a shell so I'm looking to get some rough guide prices on wiring, plumbing and tiling. I'll price the big ticket items like new boiler, cold water feed tank, rads, etc. Will also price the tiles but hoping someone can help me out with rough guide to cost of

    (1) basic wiring/rewiring
    (2) plumbing - fit new heating system, plumbing for kitchen, bathrooms, etc
    (3) cost of a tiler

    thanks in advance

Depends the area your in and on the type of tile you use but standard tiling should cost around 15euro per sq yard

Thanks - I'll add 15% and use that as my base figure for now - I can adjust as quotes roll in -

Suprisingly I'm finding it slow to get quotes - 2 weeks waiting for a quote on wiring from the first lad we had in - I guess there's still demand out there - bit of a pain when you're trying to plan how much to spend on windows, kitchens, etc - ah well - time for a leap of faith
