If I right-click on a tune in iTunes and choose Create AAC Version.....

    .....where is it stored?

    I can't find it and I want to create a ringtone from it.

    Also, can I make the ringtone longer than the 15 seconds default?

    Just rename the original file so it has a .m4r extension and add it to your itunes library. it should go in under 'ringtones' then.

    I think you can get 40 seconds out of it. It goes to your iTunes Music folder (In My Music in Windows, I think).

    this works on my iPhone.

    dial :

    *61*+3538X5XXXXXXX*11*30#

    X is your own phone number.

    the 30 can be changed in 5 second intervals, so you could use 20 or 25 etc etc
