Photographs on display of deer dogs out stalking were removed from a booth at this year's Crufts
Several photographs of deer dogs out stalking, which formed part of the display at the Bavarian Mountain Hound booth in the Discover Dogs section at this year’s Crufts were removed by Kennel Club (KC) officials as they were deemed upsetting to visitors.

The Discover Dogs area features stands devoted to the history of different dog breeds and is manned by representatives of the breed societies. Mrs Garraway, secretary of the Bavarian Mountain Hound Society of Great Britain, said: “This year, on the Sunday, members arrived to find the booth empty of 50 per cent of pictures, the KC had decided to take them down without consulting us. KC official Bill Lambert likened our pictures of our hounds working to the bull terrier stand displaying pictures of dog fighting.”

Looks like they are trying to rewrite the history of dogs. Its a pity they are going down this road as people will never get to understand the beauty of working dogs in their natural environment. PC madness

Wonder did they also remove the pics from the Belgian Malonis[sic] stand any of them working with the British army in Iraq as K9 protectors or IED sniffers,as that might portray a pro war sentiment supporting the Iraq invasion??

The expression "gone to the dogs" really applies about the UK way of life these days.
