the previous poster got me thinking and ive come to the realisation that when it comes to admiration and loyalty, i feel that dogs are alot better than husbands.
dogs generally do not bite until provoked and husbands keep biting even when they are not provoked.

speaking from experience, i have a beautiful dog and it is better than my husband at everything. i sometimes wonder do i even need a husband. this is a personal issue for me because my husband feels very unloved when i pet the dog. i don't know why he compares himself to the dog because they are two separate things.
i get a lot of grief over my husbands jealousy. i have sex with my husband regularly but he tells me i give all the "proper affection" to the dog. i dont know what he means by this. please remind me why people get married at all and dont just buy a dog who will love them so much more...

If you are so unhappy in your marriage, then life is too short to be stuck in a hellhole of a relationship. You need to sit your husband down and have a serious talk with him about this, but without starting an argument. If you are both unhappy, talk about how better things would be if you separated. These days, you do not have to stay in a dead end marriage, despite what some might say.
