Desperately searching for a unusual manual

Hi all,

I'm desperately trying to get my hands on a classic car manual for the Oh's car & hope I've come to the right place!

I've googled & searched to no avail. I'm wondering if one even exists at this stage. I was wondering if anyone here might be able to point me in the right direction as I've been loosing a fighting battle for weeks now.

It's for a 1977 Cadillac Coupe DeVille. 5.7L, RWD. Diesel engine.

If anyone can help me, I'd really, really appreciate it.:)

Those Caddy's used the woeful Oldsmobile diesel engine (originally converted from petrol). Here is a manual of it here on the American eBay site:

I have that book and the diesel engine is covered.



I also have a Chiltern book that features that car on the cover.

You can order the Haynes in any motor store here for about €30.00 euros.





You can also get two other large manuals, a 77 Cadillac Shop manual which is Cadillac range only and a 77 GM Fisher body manual which includes Cadillac and other GM ranges.

Thanks a million for the replies.

If you had to pick just one, which one you choose? Reason I ask is I want it to be a surprise for him. He had a lot of trouble with it recently & it was near impossible to find anything on the www for the diesel version. I need to get this right!

Each manual doesnt cover everything.

77 Fisher body covers bodies, electrical only

77 cadillac shop manual covers engine, aircon, suspension, steering, etc

haynes 70-93 covers the entire range and covers everything but the body isnt very specific.

Chilton 67-89 covers the entire range and covers many things.

I bought all 4....so probably the 1st two...if only engine then the shop manual or the Oldsmobile engine books as already listed.
