    How low is the plunge?

This might be better suited to the fashion forum. :)

Ah it goes down past where your bra would normally sit but not too much further past that point..

34C, you should be able to get away with no bra - that dress sounds like that's how it's meant to be worn.

Just use a bit of stratigically placed "secure-your-assets" sticky tape around the area, and away you go! :) (Honestly, I'm about your size and I wouldn't bother with a stick on bra, but if you have to, for your peace of mind, then go with that - why wouldn't they make them in 34C??)

OP, if you wish to post in the Fashion & Appearance forum you will have to register and create an account and username. Unregistered posting is not facilitated in F&A which is why your thread was approved here.

I can move your thread there, however you will not be able to post replies unless you register.

No way, 34C isn't small enough to go braless. As a former 34C, I wouldn't personally.

Well, obviously, it is a matter of personal take. For me, it works! (but then I don't wear bras anyway - pesky things! :D)

(I am more like 32C, but don't think it matters that much...)

Huge difference, I think, between 32C and 34C. A 32C is comparable to a 34B. Whereas a 34C is more like a 32D. 32C would be grand braless, but 34C is the shallow end of the big sizes, IMO. :pac:

Maybe try one of those bras with a clear strap in the middle? Like this. This is when I'm assuming that the plunge is quite narrow.

No thanks I am fine posting here I just thought I had to move it.

No personally I wouldn't go braless Id be jiggling all over shop..NOT GOOD! :)

Its not a skimpy dress your fairly covered aside from the neckline which is quiet narrow.

http://www.next.co.uk/shopping/women/missnrunway/3/4?extra=sch&n=women THIS is the dress. It doesn't look too low on the model because it is pulled in but the maniquen (cant spell that) gives you a better idea.

I wouldn't be too fond of the see through strap being all shiny etc. I will get a set of them stick on cups and see ha wish me luck!

Not a ladies lounge subject and the ability to post anon wasn't for this purpose. Moved to a better forum for the subject.

M&S sell bras that are really low in the middle, kind of like a plunge bra without the super cleavage (or, if you want cleavage, you could go with a deep plunge). This style --> http://www.marksandspencer.com/Underwired-Plunge-DD-Cleavage-Bra/dp/B004EW23NW?ref=sr_1_11 is the kind of thing I'm thinking of, or this ---> http://www.cosmopolitan.co.uk/fashion/what-bra-to-wear-what-100969

Wonderbra (in Debenhams or Arnotts) usually have something suitable with a very narrow or clear strap between the boobs, I had a few but am too big in the cup for them now

I'm thinkin something like this? Think they're called U Plunge Bras

    http://www.trademe.co.nz/Clothing/Womenswear/Lingerie-sleepwear/Size-10/auction-366289512.htm

I've seen them in Arnotts before but I don't think they're cheap!

was gonna post something similar - I have a few (what I would consider) low-cut dresses, in the winter I'd wear a cami under them, but don't want the extra layer for the summer - is it possible to get a bra that has some kind of cami-effect across the bust-area but has the underwire support, etc????

I wear a 34C, to be honest I'm almost a 34D so maybe you'd get away with these things better than me. I have the neckline problem all the time, when I can't pop a cami on underneath a low neckline sometimes I get a short bit of dark embroidery thread and put a tiny stitch just high enough that the neckline looks more appropriate. It has to be done really carefully, on the inside layer of material so that it's completely invisible, but it's saved an outfit or two for me.

As far as I know the sticky bras clip at the middle anyway, so the plunge bra would probably be the less visible option.
