Do any of yis listen to it?

I have to say I like it but it appears that presenter Ross Tucker (Ex - pro footballer who I think mainly played with the bills but has been around a bit) is gone.

Does anyone who listens to it agree that without Ross its just a little boring?

I mean its free so I cant complain too much.

Is he definitely gone? They were still talking about him last week, and Jay said something like "we can't talk about why he's not here". HE tweeted a couple of weeks ago that he hoped to be back soon and was "working on it"

I was starting to think that it might've been something to do with Jeremy Green's court case but, on balance, that seems a little far fetched.

Wasn't a huge fan of Tucker at the start but he grew on me. Like Williamson too

According to his Wikipedia page there are some "personal issues" with the podcast and I noticed that the last article he did for the ESPN website was about the relevance of the combine.

They have mentioned him less and less over the last few podcasts.

I like Matt but he is very technical and Ross offered a good contrast.

Wasn't a huge fan of Ross when he started but I definitely liked him later on.

Himself and Matt were a good team, one technical and one from past experience

But then this happened before when Jeremy Green suddenly disappeared and we found out later about the multiple charges he faced

I've not a clue what the issue with Ross is, hope he's ok

Still tweeting and still working with Sirius Radio.
    Suspended from ESPN maybe?

ross tucker writes on SI.com and gives good insight into the life of a player, haven't listened to the podcast since Jeremy Green was arrested. Completely shocked by that one.
The Rich Eisen podcast is pretty good on NFL.com but they rarely get into too much detail on things, think he's trying to go for a Bill Simmons-lite kind of pod.

Can't listen to the Eisen one. its all too buddy/buddy for me.

It could be a contract thing as he seems to work for a ton of outlets

ESPN First Draft is a pretty good listen. They talk about the latest draft-related news, and then go through 6 picks each week (i.e. 1-6, 7-12, 13-18 etc.) and how they're looking, what news there is, what options they have etc.

Just listened to Mondays show there. Jay said something like 'if we could talk about it, we would' and MW said 'but don't worry he's fine, nothing personal'

    Sounds like a contract issue

Hopefully, that's all it is and they get him back. It was him pushing for all the off-season shows so it's a bit ironic that he isn't even on them!

Ross Tucker is definitely gone from the ESPN Football Today. He has his own podcast now: http://www.sportsusaradio.com/_blog/Ross_Tucker_Football_Podcast

Edit: Sorry didnt see the other thread on this.
