I wasnt sure whether to post here or on the concert transport thread. I was thinking of hiring a limo with my mates for the up coming concert, has anyone on here hired a Limo for the gig before and how did it work out or if you know of someone that did.

If not, i think we will be resigned to taking the bus

Either way your going to be sitting in a **** load of traffic for a long while with a possible walk from the drop off zone, so its up to you! At least you will have no problems having a few tinnies in teh limo, but the craic will be on teh bus!

I've often thought of what the obstacles might be for building a radial railway route towards Monaghan roughly parallelling the N2, with a stop in Slane. Finglas was allowed to be built up without the provision for such a line of course. A stop in Ashbourne would lead to a possible influx of commuters from Ratoath, and given how Ashbourne itself has experienced a build-up, the only location that would be suitable would be somewhere alongside the N2 bypass. Then of course there's the Boyne valley...
