Rumours circulating in this part of the world regarding Royston. He's in Melbourne at the moment and may or may not be there to discuss the vacant manager's job at Melbourne Victory.

Himself and Kevin Muscat would be some deadly duo. Can't see poor Triggs liking a few weeks in quarantine though.

    I thought triggs was dead??

    Just a myth.

Like Kenan and Kel dying in a bus crash.

Sweet. Would 100% get my ass to a Victory game if Keano took over.

Other than that, it'll be the local South Yarra SC that gets my support.

Why would Triggs have to go to quarantine ?

Did Cluxton hit him that hard ?

    I'll get my coat

Strange move for him if its true though, I thought if he hung around long enough he would have gotten an offer from one of the low end championship or first division teams. May have found his level though and if it keeps him out of mind for the Ireland job in future it is a good move.

Are Kenan and Kel not dead?

    That ruined my day.

Makes sense. After the 2 disasters (after 1 initial success), it will suit him to step away from the spotlight and learn more of the trade down there.

He can't afford to have another failure in England as he wouldn't be wanted by anyone there again so maybe with some success down under, he can gradually make his way back into England again.

And yes, Triggs is dead. He died last year.

Just like Wee Man from Jackass died because he was too small.

Best of luck to him if he does get the job, I'll always have respect for him for what he did for Sunderland.

Also, it would be great to see Muscat on the receiving end of a Stephen Cluxton on Jason McAteer style punch to the face, which is what will inevitably happen.

id say muscat wud eat cluxton for brunch tbh

Pretty sure Muscat is retired since the end of this A-league season.

Edit: turns out he is Assistant Manager. Didnt know that.

I'm not denying that ;) I was saying I'd like to see Keane do to Muscat what Cluxton did to McAteer and that I felt it would definitely happen if Keane and Muscat were paired together.

The only player to ever question Keane at Sunderland was pinned up against a wall for his troubles :pac:

Story's gathering legs today with Keano's people apparently saying he's interested in holding talks with Victory.

Maybe he's found his level or maybe he'll only be passing through.

Hasn't he got a bunch of kids? Thats a huge life move for a family. I find it hard to believe he would be considering something like this so soon.

If he takes a job down under he is done as a manager IMO.

Apparently his sister lives in Melbourne, thats the only reason he is there.
