Suits - Brendan Kidd

Hi all. I've searched this forum for information regarding suits tailored at Brendan Kidd Ltd, but I've found nothing of interest so far.

Does anyone here have any experience with this store (on Capel Street in Dublin)?

I used to work in retail and was chatting away to a lawyer/barrister/something one day after I kept noticing him coming into my store wearing the best-looking suits I've seen in a long time. He said that he and his legal friends all go to Brendan Kidd because they do a nicer job than Louis Copeland (and are apparently cheaper). So I figured I'd ask here first before getting a new suit there (or elsewhere).

Know the actual man himself, he went to school with my Dad. He is cheap compared to other designers and my Dad always buys from him if he's getting a new suit/trousers for whatever. You can't beat good old proper tailoring from Irish businesses. Especially a business which is dying out so I say, go on and give him a shot anyways. ;)

My brother was recommended to pay Kidd a visit by another solicitor.
The service is second to none and is good value for money.
They are brilliant to deal with as I look after the wardrobe dept so I deal with them myself. There is no air of arrogance or posh frills like Louis few doors down but that's what makes it the first choice for me. If you want a friendly, efficient service at right money then pop in and talk with them. If he hasn't got it in stock, he will be straight on the phone and order for you. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
