Has anyone got one of the above HD Sat receivers? (Powercity have them). If so what's your opinion? Does it support DVB S2 (Ch4 HD)? I presume you can sort the channels in the order you prefer.

Comag make the Lidl Sat boxes.

Comag boxes are basic but reliable (IMO) *waits for others to disagree*

As far as I know that SL40 has a different user interface to the SL65 (the one Lidl usually sell as part of the dish kits)

Its no great bargain so I'd suggest looking at other options if its HD you are after. Even though the box can record there is no drive in this box so you are looking at 50 euro extra for that straight off.

For not much more than 200 or so you'd get the foxsat 320gb and you won't be sorry you went that bit extra.

I currently have one and it's not bad at all.
It's fairly easy to use and setup the channels how you like.
There is no 7 day epg but we use http://www.tvguide.co.uk/ for the listings.
It's compact in size, has channel number in orange when in use and time when on standby.
Picture quality is excellent and we currently have bbc one hd, itv 1 hd, bbc hd and channel 4 hd and all the other freesat channels. You have the option of setting favourites which is handy for most watched channels. Also editing and moving channels is simple. Adding extra channels can also be done on a per transponder basis too.
Pvr is good too apart from the naming which is a combo of channel name and time and date. Works with usb stick -tried with a 16GB stick which if you watch and delete would be usuable for general recording also external hdd. The interface is nice too. And has playback of pics and xvid too. Timeslip is cool as it actually records the proggy, so when you stop recording/timeslipping you can watch again.
    Overall very nice box.
If you have any specific question just ask - I'll be happy to answer.

    Thanks for that tip - I totally forgot ebay Germany. €63 + €14 p&p = €77. Powercity wanted €103 delivered.
