    Hi,

Wondering if anyone is playing in this and particularly from anyone who has already played in it last year, was won by an Irish guy two years ago and it all looks really good fun. Class course I believe in Slieve Russel which I havent' played [yet!]

Really don't want to hear from anyone telling me how much it costs and how you can get in an open for 8 quid or something blah blah! (in other words no whinging pls!)

I just paid the rest of the money - didn't play last year either but looks like good fun. Planning on playing the course in one of the opens over the next few weeks.

I played in it last year in Druids Glen. I enjoyed the experience but not enough to fork out again this year. I teed off early and the cameras were only setting up about 40 mins after I walked off the 18th. so don't expect there to be coverage of every shot you take. They film your tee shot on the first and select a par 3 at some point on the course.

Don't want to appear too negative but the golf bag is useless. Very old style and with your name on it you won't really be giving it too much of a run after the event. Don't put the trousers in a hot wash either or your daughter will be using them to dress her dolls.

It is a unique experience though. Enjoy it.

    Just wondering how this went?

Think the slieve Russell event is on sky next Monday.
