my shower hear doesnt seem to want to cool down on the dial when running,,,it will get hotter alright when i turn it down to lets say number 3 the pump gets louder and the low flow light comes on and it goes pure cold till i turn it up and knock off the light

now without touching anything after 5 mins or more of running,the pump gets louder and it cools itself and then warms itself again,,,,,its mad just like me:D

is it the thermostat do you think

how handy are they to replace

not to up on the inside operations of the shower but hope to do this myself

Try cleaning the inlet filter before you go buying a new thermostat . Parts available in modern plant on the naas rd if you need one.

Filter is where i would start as well. You'd be surprised. These showers are bullitproof and these are not one of the common problems.

Ive had the same problem with the same type shower and its always the filter clogged up ,clean the filter like the other poster said and should be fine.
