Meteor Hotspot setup problems

    I got a Huawei e5 Meteor hospot today and am having trouble. I have plugged it in to the computer and let it install the Hotspot software. But when I click on the shortcut on my desktop firefox pops up saying can't find server at www.brodbandtogohotspot.home. The hotspot is asking me to enter PIN but I can't as I can't access the setup screen. Help anyone?

    From reading through the net, it seems that the hotspot should install the 'Broadband To Go' software. But as far as I know, it didn't. the only thing it ''installed'' was a webpage where you can see the connection status, data usage etc...

    Is there anywhere you can download this Broadband To Go software on its own?

    When you connect the e5 to your pc/laptop via the USB cable, bring up your windows exlporer window and under Computer you should see the e5. Click on it and you should see the installation files and you can double click these and it should install. I have the e5 on O2 and this worked for me but I imagine it is the same on meteor.

    Right, its kinda working now. I've topped up by 20 through internet banking and can now browse the internet. I'm guessing the manual is outdated and they now use a webpage settings thing as opposed to a separate program

    One thing though the webpage is telling me I have new messages but when I click on the envelope it is unclickable. How do I access my messages through this new webpage system?

    Also, when I topped up it asked me what pass i wanted. Is this now the pass i get everytime I topup or do I get to chose everytime; I'd like that flexibility. Sorry for the noob questions btw :o

    Yeah you have to install the software, the manual/online instructions are for older software and rather pointless, but sounds like you instlaled the right stuff eventually

    if u get a monthly internet service towards the end of the data limit (if u reach it) the service gets a bit choppy and is annoying

    not sure how u access messages through the web system but there should be an option to see/send/recieve messages on the meteor bb to go app
