Most high street shops won't employ you. Best bet is looking at local shops, maybe handy work (gardening, cleaning, etc...), babysitting, stuff like that.

I'd second the above post from personal experience as its all about who you know unfortunately, but if you live in the suburbs you could get another one of your friends and go cut grass for 2 hours might not be the most glamorous job but once you have a lawnmower you'll easily make €20 each for only 2 hours work
