Blocked Pipe

    Hi all,

The pipe my washing machine pumps out to is blocked, if I put it into the sink it all flows out okay. I've checked the pipe and it is almost like there is solid cement stuck in the pipe around the point where it disappears under the floor.

Is it possible that this is compacted washing powder?

Any suggestions on how to unblock? I've tried Mr.Muscle drain cleaner and it didn't work.

Metal coat hanger( Dam pennies and there plastic stuff)

I always keep a metal coat hanger in my boot. Its good for a multitude of things including

    Clearing drains

    extending your arm

Tying up an exhaust or bumper

Opening car doors. Dam teenage years.

buy a bottle of drain doctor or any other good drain unblocking liquid,,,,you will get in any good hardware or plumbing store,,,,please handle with EXTREME care as its a type of acid and will burn your skin, wear gloves etc,,,,its great stuff,,,it burns through most of the stuff you would expect to have blocked your drains,,,,clothing, vegetable skins, paper etc,,,in your case its prob fluff, clothing.if theres money i dont think it would pump through that thou:D

I am not argueing with anyone about this but I would stay away from acid. If the drain has to be stripped it gets very very messy.
