Are used PS2 games worth anything?

Just realised I have a crapload of PS2 games still in pretty good condition.

Was about to just chuck them away, but I was wondering are they worth anything?

Do Game or Gamestop etc still buy these titles?

Or I might just offer them on adverts.ie as a freebie if not.

Often charity shops will take them and might make a few euro out of them.

If your around Limerick ill take them off your hands

Gamestop will give you a few pence for them. Some titles they are selling on for a tener or so - the like of a Metal Gear Solid or Grand Theft Auto game perhaps or something more rare.

If you give em away free on adverts someone else might sell them on if there's anything special in there. If they're just football games or whatever you could lob em into a charity shop and gain Karma points :)

a few of the lads at A&R are collecting them.
you could trade them on arcade and retro for something.

and .....er if you're throwing them out in dublin I'd give them a good home ..;)

Probably not worth trading them in to a store as you'll only get between 20c and €1 per game. Either give them to someone or sell them in bulk on adverts.

You should be able to shift some games on adverts. I sold about 50 PS2 games last year. They normally go for €5 a piece for some of the better titles but usually you'd have to sell 3 or 4 for a tenner. Plenty of buyers / collectors out there.

do you have a list of games? maybe I and the other scavengers here can pick off the tastiest morsels from your collection for a fair price.

Other than that, check ebay and compare see what the same titles are selling for there, see if it's worth your while.
