Stop lines at Traffic Lights

The stop line is before the pedestrian cossing, level with the lights. This guy makes his own rules, it seems.
At times I think we should have lights like they have in France: only one pole at the stop line. Go beyond it and there are no other lights to see. It keeps cars from inching forward as we get here so often. Cheaper too (county councils take note!).

Try getting a buggy accross the road, with some bozo stopped on the Pedestrian crossing, reving up and giving me the evil eye.

If there's no room, I will have to scratch you car...sorry, big buggy, would be worse it it was a wheelchair.

That looks like a orange light speed-upper.

Not necessarily. I often pass through a junction on a slight downward incline with a left hand filter. Along comes Mr and Ms Plonker, who while waiting for lights to change let their car inch/roll forward past light with aforesaid filter, so that they cannot see it, although they are turning left!!!
