need to purchase a 7 seater - have looked at VW touran, Corolla Verso, Ford Galaxy - i have been offered a good deal on a 09 Renault Scenic 1.6 diesel 42,000 km - €12k plus my 03 corolla with 95,000 miles on the clock

what are peoples opinions on the Renault Scenic?

Haven't had one myself but here are some reviews

+ Third generation Scenic ticks all the boxes. Comfortable for seven. Great new chain-cam water-cooled petrol turbo 1.4 TCe 130 engine.
- 2.0 dCi torque a bit disappointing.

It's not full 7 seater, for that you need the Galaxy or similar. Unlike some rivals, the two seats in the boot don't fold away, they are removable, which is a lot less useful. Only 200 litres of boot if you leave the seats in.
